We will meet to discuss your expectations and goals to be sure they are good fit for virtual supervision. A supervision contract will be signed to initiate your supervision contract and an initial meeting will be planned to identify your strengths and needs. Regular check-ins will be programmed to ensure that your supervision experience is meeting your learning goals and expectations.
We will meet by phone or online weekly at a time that fits your schedule. Meetings will include overview of your questions from your coursework and programmed discussion from the BACB Task List. Meetings will also include working through actual cases to discuss both clinical and practical needs. Ethics, parent training, and logistics of quality care will be key elements of each supervision meeting.
You will provide video samples of your interactions with clients to satisfy the BACB requirements of direct supervision of your work twice per month. You will also provide samples of your programming for your clients for feedback. In person observation is offered for local BCBA candidates.
